3 Tips
When you're not feeling like going to the gym or really doing anything that’s a little hard or uncomfortable, pick something about it that you know is either easy, or you enjoy and think only about that. Like talking to a friend, feeling amazing after, learning a new movement, etc.
Along the same lines if you’re tired or not feeling it, give yourself the mental pass to just go through the motions. Tell yourself I’m going to take it easy, go super light, I’m just going to go in and move. Stacking up workouts at 50-60% is better than doing a 100% effort workout here and there.
Fuel your body after working out. Your body needs to recover from what you just put it through so it can come back stronger than before. Get some protein and carbs, I do a shake, but you could grab some good protein high food and an apple or banana.

3 Random Thoughts
In a perfect world we don’t need gym’s, our bodies were designed to do physical work and thrive in that setting, however, modern life, while a blessing in a lot of ways, deprives us of the physical things we need to do. Think of the gym as making up the difference.
Thinking about having a theme each month for something to work on, test at the beginning of the month then at the end.
The best way to get your family into health and fitness is to be into it yourself. It's cool seeing all of your family members who may not have ever had any interest in working out, are now are into it.
